Monday is the most hated day of the week, because it signals the end of the lazy weekend and the start of another week in the rat race. Whether you're a student or a worker, Monday means having to get up early and get to work or class on time. For most people, Monday means you want to sleep more, but you have to get out of bed and proceed to your weekly routine. This thought makes people think that they woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and this ruins the entire day for them.
Whether you like it or not, Monday comes, and it will go too. I think Manic Mondays are overrated. For me, it's just like any day of the week. Hating Mondays always have something to do with your mindset towards it. I learned to deal with the start of the week by:
1. Choosing my favorite piece of clothing the night before, so I'll look forward to wearing it on a Monday
2. Preparing my breakfast, like smoothies and pancake mix. Sometimes, I make it a point to go to the college dining hall earlier, and it's good my friend also caught up with this habit of eating breakfast with me! Eating+bonding=FUN!
3. Finishing all my school work on the weekends and sleeping earlier.
Sometimes, I do get Monday blues, but I just think to myself that Monday comes and goes.
